Central Ohio Bengali Cultural Association

Central Ohio Bengali Cultural Association (COBCA), a community organization open to all, has been operating from Columbus, Ohio for the last nineteen years. Anybody with appreciation for art and culture is welcome to be a member of this organization. Though primarily the association presents Bengali (Asian Indian) cultural programs, it has hosted routinely multi cultural events, where residents of all nationalities from Columbus and outside have participated and enjoyed the cultural events. Through COBCA world renowned artists have graced this city and enriched the multi cultural life.

COBCA members participate in several community outreach missions that include organized food drive activities and feed the hungry program. COBCA has raised funds and donated generously to flood, Tsunami and other natural disasters that affected victims in India and elsewhere. By inculcating artistic background and thereby enhancing the ethical dimension, COBCA believes the members will become compassionate and better human beings apart from being successful in their individual aspirations. It is a non-profit organization (registered with IRS) where members work voluntarily.
